Since 2008, we’ve been using a fantastic support management system which integrates with our version control systems and has served us well. It’s been incredibly stable, and we have to admit that it’s been so good and reliable that we never felt it was necessary to upgrade to the latest version.
This weekend, we’ve bitten the bullet and got around to upgrading to the latest version and are moving it to a brand new server. All of the test runs have proved successful and – so now we’re doing it for real. We will shut the system down on Saturday so any emails to our support team will be queued until we have fully migrated the data which should be some time around Saturday evening.
None of our web sites are affected by this change and our servers are continuously monitored independently of the case management system.
